The 90's are back!

Alex just informed me last night that white is really in right now because its the beginning of the 90's revival. This made me beyond excited because first off I love white (its one of my two favorite colors) and second because I LOVE THE 90's! I mean I guess it could just be sentimental because we were born in the 90's and all the best t.v shows were on in the 90's but it was also just a really awesome decade. Lets first start with the fashion- 90's fashion has been slowing coming back a while, plaid shirts and the grunge look is nothing new. Look almost anywhere (and especially in San Francisco) and you can probably find someone wearing Doc Martens or similar boots. So grunge has been pretty popular lately but with this revival of the 90's hopefully some of my other favorite styles will come back. Like Clueless! who didn't want Cher's closet of clothes or at least her closet. Cute baby-doll dresses, slips, preppy shirts. Who can not be beyond excited for thigh high stockings? It was cute and it will be even cuter this time around.
Now lets look at the t.v shows. The 90's had, by far, the best T.V to date. To name a few: 90210 (the original), Ally McBeal, Dawson's Creek, Melrose Place, The Real World, Party of Five, South Park. Some of the most important things T.V taught me was from Dawson's Creek so how can I not love the decade that gave it to me?
It was a good time for entertainment and an even better time for fashion. So all I can say is that Im SO excited for the revival of the 90's. Are you?

~Sami

Helloooo! Sami, you forgot Boy Meets World! and Teletubbies! haha ok maybe not Teletubbies (although I do recall Sami begging to be Po or something in like 3rd grade at recess), but Boy Meets World definitely made me the girl I am today. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not really looking forward to the return of 90's fashion the way the 80's has been dominating for the past few years (how unoriginal are we anyway?). Although hopefully it'll at least be slightly more flattering this time around. But that's about the only thing about 90's that I don't love. Music was awesome. Movies...forever in my heart. In fact, here's a list of some of my faves.

My Favorite Movies of the '90s
-American Beauty
-Titanic
-10 Things I Hate About You
-Forrest Gump
