The girl is crazy

When I found out that Ali from the last season of the bachelor was going to be this season bachelorette I was not excited. First off when are they going to stop using left over from season to be their new love interest and second of all I couldnt stand Ali. I mean she was a whole hell of a lot better than Vienna but the girl was crazy. She was so obsessed with getting Jake to not pick Vienna that she ruin her chance. And this new season of the Bachelorette is not any better.

She must be blind if she thinks that half of the guys she has left are attractive and that any of them have her best interest at heart. One guy is so obviously a player that Im shocked she takes his smooth talking seriously. I really just do not understand what the crazy girl is thinking. Shes bound to get her heart broken. But at least she didn't end up with obviously gay Jake ( I mean come on, dancing with the starts, really?)

Even if I do think Ali is crazy (the bachelorette is my one guilty pleasure that I actually do feel guilty about) Ill still continue to watch it because who can resist this girl giggling as these guys figure out how to stay on the show the longest?

Yay! Rachel Bilson Does Have a Job!

So. It probably goes without saying that Sami and I were and are huge freaks about The OC minus Mischa Barton whom we will never forgive. Rachel Bilson is an entirely different story however. I'm obsessed with her, and most with-it, magazine-reading men and women are keenly familiar with Rachel's brilliant, sweet and refreshing sense of style. She has even written her own column and is now a Fashion Editor for InStyle Magazine.

I mean I know she's a regular on the red carpet and always looking amazing, but I've always kind of wondered if she even still acts. I saw her in Jumper, which was officially on Sami's and my top three list of worst movies ever (along with Elizabethtown and In the Land of Women). Then she wasn't really in anything until her small role in New York, I Love You. So I've really been kind of missing Rachel, but it wasn't until today when I saw her on InStyle.com's "Look of the Day" that I decided to finally imdb this girl. Turns out, she's gonna be starring in a new film titled Waiting for Forever, which is supposed to be released sometime this year. I can hardly wait. Yayy for Rachel!

One Less Flat-Chested Girl: Kate Hudson Edition

I found out last week that Kate Hudson got a boob job. I don't know if all of you more well-endowed girls (*cough* Sami *cough*) know, but Kate Hudson has always been kind of an icon for us flat-chested girls, the President of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee, if you will. Not many celebrities are members actually, so it was kind of a big deal to have such a sexy screen siren as a representative.

Traditionally, the ideal female figure is curvy. The term "womanly" has even become an adjective that refers specifically to a woman who possesses full hips and chest. Even the use of "full" is a little disheartening to a girl like me without very big boobs. It's as if it's implied that I'm less of a woman because my chest doesn't stick out as far as a lot of other girls.

Hollywood totally reaffirms this stereotypical standard of female beauty and sexuality. Look at Maxim's Hot 100. How many of them are flat-chested? Not many if any. But Kate Hudson. She was one foxy A cup. I never thought I'd see the day when she decided to conform. I don't think she realizes how many of us are deeply disappointed about her decision. Well, good riddance. I mean I still like her, but that just means that the rest of the committee needs to be on their A game (get it -- "A" game ahahaa) to prove to the world that there's a lot more to sex appeal than the va-va voom. I mean, have you seen my legs? =] And if you check out those Before pictures of Kate in the red bikini, it's clear that with a booty like that, nobody was paying attention to her boobs anyway.

PS Kate's boobs aren't even that much bigger by the looks of it, but it's the principle of the matter!
